All proceeds from this circus act will go to the REPEAL campaign

Fancy some excellent entertainment for a good cause this weekend?
Cork Circus Factory presents a collection of works exploring the unique relationship performers and circus artists have with their bodies on Saturday evening.
All the proceeds from the performance of My Body will go to the Cork Coalition to Repeal The 8th Campaign.
The release for the event says: ‘We bend our bodies into extreme shapes, push them to do exceptional things, bring them to even higher heights. We persuade, cajole and convince our bodies to do more for us. The body fights back.
‘The body can surpass our most unreasonable demands. Yet despite and because of this struggle it is our main source of pride, achievement and joy.’
Doors are at 7pm at Centre Park House, Centre Park Road and tickets (ages 14+) are €10 online, €12 at the door. There’ll be raffle prizes on the night and it’s BYOB.
