Cancel your plans: a Cork cinema is screening Titanic

This Saturday marks 106 years since the sinking of the RMS Titanic.
It’s also 21 years since the release of the most epic romance-disaster film ever made.
This weekend you can relive that fateful teenage cinema trip at The Kino; James Cameron’s masterpiece will be shown on the big screen this Saturday, April 14th.
A moving tale of love between two people divided by social class, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio star in the movie that scooped an astonishing 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, and made us sob into our school uniforms when it was released in 1997.
The film will be screened in HD BluRay using Kino’s state-of-the-art laser projector at the Washington Street arts hub.
Tickets are €8 for the 7pm show will be available on the door.
