Aldi just unveiled a vegetarian-friendly white pudding

Missing your full Irish breakfast during Veganuary?
Finding a decent substitute to crush your cravings is half the battle… and Aldi have just unveiled a brilliant dupe for white pudding.
The supermarket will stock Kelly’s Blás na hÉireann award winning Vegetarian Pudding from this week.
The pudding, made from soya and flavoured with a special blend of spices to create ‘a remarkably meat like taste’ will go on sale this Thursday, January 10th in all 137 stores at €2.29 per tube.
“We are delighted that Kelly’s Vegetarian Pudding will now be available across the country at Aldi Stores”, said Seán Kelly of Kelly’s Butchers, “This is a high protein low fat product which is very popular with health-conscious people and those watching their weight”.
Kelly’s Butchers, the family business based in Newport, Co. Mayo, launched Kelly’s High Protein Vegetarian Pudding two years ago and it has proved hugely popular.
Who knows, you might even stick with the meat-free version when the New Year diet is over.
