A slick new coffee roastery just opened in Clonakilty

There’s nothing like the heady scent of freshly ground coffee beans to start the day on the right note.
Now the lucky residents of Clonakilty have a brand new spot to pick up a decent brew.
Stone Valley Coffee Roasters have just opened their new roastery at 35 Ashe Street Clonakilty, transforming a run-down building into a cosy takeaway coffee counter.
“We will be doing all of our production there and also serving really great take away coffees for the locals and the tourists.” co-owner John Boyle, who runs the business with Tom Edwards, told us.
“For so long we’ve wanted a storefront where we can represent our coffees in exactly the way they were meant to be served but it will also give us a great space for training, classes and events in the future.”
As well as an espresso or a latte to-go, you can also pick up a bag of freshly ground coffee to take home.
Serving delicious coffees and assorted treats (try the coffee cake) from Monday to Saturday, Stone Valley Roasters is open from 9am – 3pm.
Worth the stop if you’re passing through.
