A new beachside coffee truck is now open in Fountainstown

The hatch goes up at 8am.
A new beachside coffee truck is now open at Fountainstown, with a delicious menu of lattes, mochas, espressos, and iced drinks waiting for early-morning swimmers and strollers.
The Busy Brew will fire up the coffee machine until 5.30pm daily, with a selection of cookies, brownies, Biscoff and peanut protein balls also on offer and a €1 Puppuccino for canine customers.

Proud owner Sean Cooke from Carrigaline runs the business alongside his girlfriend Cora Loughnane.
“I decided at the start of this year to bite the bullet and start up my own coffee shop,” he told Yay Cork.
“It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey but it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I’m only getting started! I’m a native of Carrigaline so setting up location in fountainstown was a no-brainer. It’s somewhere I enjoy visiting and being able to set up my first business there is a proud moment for me.
“The idea of being at work but being somewhere I love at the same time was always a vision of mine.”

Sean spent the months leading up to the launch tasting every Cork-roasted coffee he could find.
“I wanted to keep as much of our stock as local as possible while also really having the best coffee at The Busy Brew. I believe we have achieved this by choosing to stock Soma Coffee. From the feedback we’ve received from our customers so far, choosing to go with Soma Coffee has definitely been the right choice.”
Visit The Busy Brew at Fountainstown Beach from 8am to 5.30pm.
