A mostly wet week ahead, but at least it won’t be freezing

No day without rain.
Met Éireann’s latest regional forecast for Munster suggests that we’ll get plenty of rain this week, although the zero degree nights we had last week have thankfully eased off.
Things will dry up a bit after a wet start to Monday, though there will still be well-scattered patches of rain or drizzle. Temperatures will be mild, in the mid-teens.
Tuesday will follow an almost identical pattern, rainy in the morning before a clearance of sorts leading to sunny spells and the chance of late afternoon showers. Once again, temperatures will hover between 11 and 14 degrees.
Dry and bright spells will develop on Wednesday, following yet another cloudy start, though outbreaks of rain will recommence on Thursday, eventually becoming worst in the west. Evening and night-time temperatures throughout will see lows of around 4 to 8 degrees consistently throughout the week.
Thursday night will be cloudy, leading in to Friday, which will be “Mostly cloudy… with outbreaks of rain extending from the north and west to all parts through the day, drier brighter conditions will develop in the northwest later in the afternoon and evening.” Temperatures will remain pleasant enough however, between 12 and 15 degrees.
