A luxe new adults-only lodge and spa just opened in Glengarriff

Pack your togs.
A new adults-only lodge and spa just opened in Glengarriff, West Cork, offering cosy bedrooms and a full outdoor relaxation space to kick back in after a day’s exploring the stunning surroundings.
The Jewel is owned by Cork-born sisters Aiveen Casey and Keelin Fitzgerald, who have a life-long connection with West Cork. While they grew up in the suburbs of Cork City, their father was a Bantry man and their summers were spent camping at Eagles Point in Ballylickey, near Glengarriff village.

Nestled on the hillside of Glengarriff, overnight guests at The Jewel can enjoy their stay in boutique-style suites or self-catering apartments. Each apartment has two en-suite bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living room with a large electric fire for cosy nights in.
Each kitchen includes a breakfast starter pack and home-comfort essentials for a self-catering break. The spacious triple bedroom has three beds, one bathroom, comfortable seating, and tea/coffee-making facilities.

The Riverside Spa boasts an outdoor hot tub immersed in the forest, seaweed baths using locally sourced seaweed, and an outdoor sauna, which is best enjoyed followed by a dip in The Riverside Spa’s main attraction – the natural ice-cold plunge pool flowing straight into Glengarriff river.
An extensive range of treatments are available as add-ons to bookings including manicures, pedicures or a massage.
