A Corkman might be PETA’S ‘Hottest Vegan Over 50’

A Cork man has reached the finals of PETA’s inaugural Hottest Vegan Over 50 Competition.
Fashion designer and vegan health coach Brian O’Sullivan (54) from Douglas has secured a place on the animal rights charity’s 2019 shortlist.
Describing himself as a long-time vegetarian and friend to animals, O’Sullivan switched to a plant-based diet two-and-a-half years ago, saying he “realised it’s the only way of life that truly shows mercy, love, and compassion for all sentient beings”.
“Brian O’Sullivan is a dedicated, compassionate hero for animals,” says PETA Director Elisa Allen. “All the finalists of PETA’s Hottest Vegan Over 50 Contest are true testaments to the vitality and joy that come from vegan eating.”
The winner, announced on August 12th, 2019, will receive a complimentary one-night stay for two people in the world’s first all-vegan hotel suite, inside the five-star Hilton London Bankside Hotel.
