A Cobh supermarket has once again offered a helping hand to anyone in the local community who might be struggling to make ends meet this Christmas.

Garvey’s SuperValu in Tiknok, Cobh is urging customers in need to contact them directly so a package of food can be discretely delivered to their doorstep during the festive season.

“We understand that Christmas can be a difficult time of the year financially for many people in our Cobh community.” the supermarket management posted on social media.
