Trade in your sweater for a jolly new one at this clever Christmas Jumper Swap

They often end up in the bin, come January.
But now you can give last year’s Christmas jumper a new lease of life by donating it to an excellent cause… and you can help a second time by choosing a new second-hand sweater to rock at the office party.
Passage West’s Star of the Sea Primary School Parents Association has decided to start a new tradition; their Christmas Jumper Swap will run over two days in December in the school hall, offering an affordable and sustainable way to celebrate silly sweater season.
According to the organisers, one in four Christmas jumpers end up thrown away or never worn again.
This year you can drop off your old Christmas jumpers (clean and in good condition) to a Parent’s Association member in the school car park any weekday morning between 8.30am and 9am up until Thursday, December 1st.
Then, the big swap event will take place on Friday, December 2nd (6pm to 8pm) and Saturday, December 3rd (10am to noon) in the Star of the Sea School Hall.
