A Cork restaurant is offering a fully vegan fast food menu on Deliveroo

It ain’t easy being green.
If your first foray into veganism is proving more of a struggle than you anticipated, now you can make your Veganuary a little easier by treating yourself to a plant-based takeaway.
Turner’s Cross plant-based restaurant Vegan KO is offering a full vegan menu of delicious dupes via Deliveroo – especially helpful when you can’t be arsed cooking or your hangover is demanding comfort food.
Two of their most popular orders are the HamKO and the CheeseKO Burgers, both made using a vegan ‘beef’ patty.
The kebabs are a hefty hunger-buster – stuffed to bursting with crunchy veggies, crisp fries, hummus, and tasty meat alternatives.
There’s also the BacunKO burger (vegan beef, vegan bacon, ketchup, lettuce, gherkins, sweet grilled onions, and mustard) and the juicy Beyond Black burger, which comes on a trendy charcoal-infused bun.
Instagram-tastic…
Trust us; you’ll be needing a portion of loaded fries with garlic and vegan cheese and a vegan double chocolate chip cookie too.
From 2018 to 2019 there has been a whopping 184% increase in vegan orders on Deliveroo and an 89% percent increase in the number of restaurants that offer vegan dishes.
“Not only have we seen a hungry appetite for new vegan dishes and restaurants from our customers who always order vegan, but we’ve also seen a vegan-ish trend emerging where an increasing number of customers are ordering a mix of vegan and non-vegan dishes.” says Deliveroo’s Joe Groves.
Follow Vegan KO on Facebook for updates on the menu or order from Deliveroo after 5pm from Wednesday to Sunday.
