A Cork gym has added a brow and beauty bar

By Katie Mythen-Lynch April 6, 2018April 5, 2018

If you like to treat yourself after a gruelling workout, this will be music to your ears.

CityWax has opened a brand new pampering spot… inside a Cork gym.

The Brow and Beauty Bar by CityWax is now open for business at Gym Plus Cork, Citygate.

Gym Plus general manager, Paula Lynch says the idea for the new facility was conjured up in response to demand for additional services to complement the gym and the health food café.

And it’s proving hugely popular with gym goers.

The salon provides a wide selection of treatments from hair and nails to lashes and brows, hair styling and make-up application, with tune-ups starting at €10.

“Having the new salon onsite means people can pop down for a 30-minute lunchtime class, get their nails done then grab a very healthy lunch on the way back to the office.” Paula added.

There’s literally no more excuses for missing a gym class or a brow tidy.
