This city salon invites Cork mums to bring their babies to their hair appointment
Finding time to get your hair done when you’ve got a new baby can feel impossible.
But one Cork salon has come up with a very handy solution.
Vibe & Vision on Cook Street in Cork City Centre has introduced a special Mom & Baby Day every Thursday, giving mums the chance to get their hair done while having their little ones with them.
The salon has been designed to be baby-friendly, so rather than having to find someone to mind your baby for a couple of hours, you can simply bring them along.
The idea is pretty simple: you get some much-needed me-time, while your little one has their own comfortable space nearby.

And let’s be honest, getting a few hours to sit down, have your hair done and actually relax can feel like absolute luxury when you’re in the newborn bubble.
Vibe & Vision says the weekly sessions are all about creating a relaxed environment where mums can be around other mothers who understand exactly what those early days are like.
“Motherhood is always better when you are around people who get you,” the salon owner Victoria McCullagh says.
