A new lakeside Yoga and Sauna experience offers a twice-weekly escape from the grind

Feeling a bit stressy this week?
If the beach break is oh-so-very-far-away or you’re craving a little self-care in between summer camp pick-ups and Zoom meetings, a new twice-weekly Yoga & Sauna sesh’ could be just what the doctor ordered.
Ballyhass Adventure Group just launched a new Yoga and Sauna lakeside experience at the Mallow site.

These sessions are running every Wednesday evening from 8pm to 10pm and every Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm, offering participants (over 16s) a unique opportunity to escape the chaos of daily life and immerse themselves in the tranquillity of nature.
The lakeside sanctuary could become your new twice-weekly escape from the gloriously messy reality of life.
Think crisp morning air laced with the earthy scent of grass and leaves, the gentle lap of water against the shore, and instructors who won’t judge you for mistaking a downward-facing dog for a particularly enthusiastic greeting to the floor (it happens to the best of us).
Instructor Lauren, a registered yoga teacher with 200 hours of training from Bali in Indonesia, will take the group through a blissful outdoor Yoga class before you hit the wood-burning saunas and feel the therapeutic heat envelop your body, melting away stress and tension.

Then, invigorate your senses with a refreshing plunge into the cold water, leaving you feeling revitalised and rejuvenated.
It’s a chance to reconnect with your inner zen goddess, even if she’s currently wearing yesterday’s leggings and muttering about the price of flights.
Yoga & Sauna at Ballyhass is €25 per session and you can book in here.
