Grab your mat: Yoga in the Park is back (and it’s kid and dog-friendly)

The grand stretch in the evening is here…
And very soon, the big stretch will return to Fitzgerald’s Park.
The yogis over at Himalaya Yoga Valley Ireland have just announced another season of Yoga in the Park is kicking off on June 4th. This year, superfans can practice their salutations in the sunshine and help the donation-based yoga class raise funds for their chosen charities.
“Over the last eight years, we have raised over €70,000 for Pieta House and Cork Simon and we have no doubt that this year will be another huge success,” they told us.
“We often see up to 200 people in Fitzgerald’s Park and close to 100 in the Regional Park, so be sure to roll down and grab your spot in good time. Bring a mat, water, sunscreen (fingers crossed…), and your donation. You don’t need to book this class- just roll up and roll out your mat!”

No babysitter? No problem. This is a family-friendly event and classes are suitable for all levels. Even doggos are welcome (as long as they’re kept on a leash).
Yoga in the Park runs from June 4th until September and will take place every Saturday from 10am in Fitzgerald Park.
