We’re almost there.

Cork’s vaccination centres will continue their walk-in services this weekend, as the county inches its way towards a 100% vaccination rate for people over the age of 18.

Anyone over 16 can avail of the walk-in vaccination services, provided that it has been at least 21 days since their first shot. Children between the ages of 12 and 15 can also get jabbed as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Most centres are offering Pfizer, and it is possible to get a second jab of Pfizer even if your first dose was AstraZeneca.

Here are the dates and times for Cork centres this weekend:

Bantry Primary Care Centre

• Sunday, 3rd October 9:15am to 11am

City Hall Cork

• Saturday 2 October, 12pm to 2pm

Clonakilty GAA Club

• Saturday, 2 October 9:15am to 11am

89.2% of Ireland’s eligible population has now received at least one dose of the vaccine, with 87% fully vaccinated.
