Choose your own Jack-o-lantern at this wholesome Cork pumpkin patch

Listen up, Halloween fans.
What’s better than a crisp, autumnal day spent picking out your own pumpkin in the great outdoors?
Not much if you ask us… and now there’s a Cork spot offering just that, along with plenty more family-friendly fun to boot.
The Farm in Grenagh is a traditional 40-acre working farm where you can walk the trails to their pumpkin patch and pick out the perfect potential jack-o-lantern. Not only can you take it home but you can even carve it on site.
The pumpkin patch opens on September 23rd (UPDATE: it’s now sold out).

There’s also a host of other cute activities, including a petting zoo with over 23 different animals that you can help feed. Whether you’re babysitting or planning something unique for a first date, this will tick all your boxes.
Swing by The Farm’s 1960’s Village to see what life was like in rural Ireland back in the day and explore the hardware shop, garage, classroom, and vintage collectibles.

And once you’ve worked up an appetite, hit The Haystack Restaurant for light bites or a full roast dinner. There’s even a menu curated for the kiddos.
Children’s Pumpkin Patch tickets start at €9.50 and Adult tickets are €8 here.
