Dogs aren’t crazy about hot weather.

As the temperatures rise in the coming weeks, it’s important to make sure your pooch is cool as a cucumber in a shaded part of the house or garden.

Now Lidl has just the accessory to ensure your darling doggo is comfortable and safe, no matter how warm it (hopefully) gets outside this summer.

The budget supermarket is bringing back its bestselling Dog Lounger (€22.99), complete with a raised base that allows air to circulate and a nifty removable sunshade that will keep your pup nice and chill while you soak up the sun or dine al fresco.

With dog kennels and cat shelters seeing record numbers of adoptions over the past couple of months, Lidl is also introducing a range of affordable pet products from today, Monday, June 22nd, while stocks last.

You can also pick up an Interactive Treat Dispenser (€24.99) to stimulate your pet’s mind through a combination of movement and mental challenges (a tasty treat is dispensed as a reward) or Lidl’s Step-On Water Fountain (€14.99), which will keep them refreshed and hydrated
