Brought to you by The Blue Haven Collection.
Summer always starts in Kinsale.
And while we might be a little delayed this year after months in lockdown, Cork’s favourite seaside destination is getting ready to make up for lost time and ensure summer 2020 is as safe and enjoyable as any other.
The Blue Haven Collection is leading the charge, with a multi-faceted plan to ensure all the brand’s much-loved venues are a ‘Safe Haven’ for guests of all ages.
The grand reopening begins at the end of the month and will continue in phases until all venues are running as normal, with a surprise addition to the Blue Haven Collection joining the line-up in July.
A sunshine staycation
If your boss is demanding you use some of your precious holiday allocations in the coming weeks, The Blue Haven Hotel is perfectly placed for a night or two away.
Now a member of the Historic Hotels of Europe, the hotel has also been included in Best in Ireland 2020, the trusted travel guide by John and Sally Mc Kenna and there’s plenty to keep everyone busy during the day, from strolls on Charles Fort, to water activities, a fairy door trail and sandy beaches.
Ready for a real treat? Check out the popular Culinary Break getaway, which includes one or two night’s accommodation in the award-winning four-star Blue Haven Hotel or the five-star Old Bank House, home-baked cookies on arrival, pillow menus and a Nespresso machine in your room.
During your stay, you will be treated to the Blue Haven’s award-winning breakfast and an Afternoon Tea, as well as a decadent evening meal.
Pick up a picnic
If you’re heading out for the afternoon, you can pick up a decadent picnic lunch from The Old Bank House, which will be putting together al fresco meals to-go from July 3rd, 2020.
