They’re not wasting any time.

Washington street’s iconic Kino cinema has been taken over by The Good Room duo Ed O’Leary and Joe Kelly and with doors set to open on Friday, September 13th, the first acts have been revealed.

Sounds from a Safe Harbour will present Odyssey, featuring Todd Dahlhoff, Leslie Feist, and Shahzad Ismaily, at 9pm on opening night.

Based on Emily Wilson’s ‘lucid and remarkable’ translation of Homer’s Odyssey, the trio have prepared a work-in-development performance for SFSH, that will include a greek chorus-like choir, as well as new improvisations.

Gothenburg’s sir Was – the musical journey of Joel Wästberg, will follow, taking the newly spruced up stage at 10pm on Saturday, September 14th.

After the incredible response to debut album ‘Digging a Tunnel’ – picked by Lauren Laverne as her album of 2017 – sir Was has been locked up in his studio packed with every instrument you can imagine.

Expect organic instrumentation, synthetic sounds and head-bobbing beats.
