Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Munster and Leinster.
According to the national forecaster, heavy rain ‘will spread from the south Thursday evening and night’, putting a serious dampener on the warm, sunny weather and 18C-22C highs we’re enjoying this morning.
Any early mist or fog patches will clear & much of today will be mainly dry with bright or sunny spells. Towards evening heavy rain will develop in the south and will spread northwards over the southern half of the country by nightfall. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22°C. pic.twitter.com/99zvNAoqCT
