6 Cork Instagram feeds to follow when you need a lockdown lift

These are strange times.
Covid-19 lockdown has landed us all in unfamiliar territory and there are few people who aren’t feeling at least a little weirded out by the whole thing.
When normal life is on pause and you’re feeling unsettled, the best thing to do is seek out some inspiration from someone who is making the best of it. Happily, here in Cork, we have motivation in spades and it’s all there at the tip of your thumb; just swish through your Instagram follow list.
Here are six Cork people using Instagram to connect, uplift and inspire:
1. @MrCianTwomey and @Missemilyrochford
They’re super laid back about it, but Cork couple Cian Twomey and Emily Rochford have more than one million Instagram fans between them.
No surprise then that their new podcast The Cian and Emily Show just landed at the top of the Apple iTunes homepage. Download it immediately for fun, lighthearted chats with some well-known characters who’ve graced their hilarious Facebook videos over the years and follow them on Instagram for quarantine kitchen dance parties, adorable dogs and lots of stuff involving wigs.

Trisha is also a must-follow if you’ve never had the confidence to take your health into your own hands before. As she says: “Can you imagine who you could be if you took a chance on yourself?” Now is the time.
