Only one Cork spot made this list of Ireland’s most ‘Instagrammable’ locations

We’ve all kissed the famous stone.
But if you haven’t been Blarney Castle in a few years, it might be time for a return visit; the tourist spot has made a list of Ireland’s most ‘Instagrammable’ locations.
Irish Instagram Tour company, InstaTours has compiled a list of the most beautiful spots across the country for taking Instagrams and Blarney’s world-famous castle, house and gardens came in at number three, just behind the Cliffs of Moher and the Giant’s Causeway.
“This research was done by reviewing the volume of hashtags on Instagram for each location, checking the photo quality of each spot by professional photographers, and measuring the number of travel blogs featuring each setting,” they told us.
Ireland’s most ‘Instagrammable’ locations are:
- Cliffs of Moher
- Giants Causeway
- Blarney Castle
- The Dark Hedges
- Kylemore Abbey
- Dublin’s Temple Bar
- Dingle Peninsula
“The most popular locations all had one thing in common – nature. Stops along the Wild Atlantic Way proved to be the most Instagrammable.”
InstaTours says the secret to a great Instagram photo is a beautiful background, a sunrise/sunset, and choosing places where there are no other people around.
