You’ll find sustainable period products from Cork brand We Are Riley in all Press Up venues

They’re changing the period game. Period.
And now sustainable sanitary product company We Are Riley has received another boost, announcing a partnership with Press Up Hospitality Group, Ireland’s leading leisure and hospitality company.
Started by Cork entrepreneurs, Aine Kilkenny, Fiona Parfrey and Lauren Duggan, We Are Riley sanitary products are not just better for your body with zero bleach, toxins, or chemicals used in production, they are also committed to sustainability, using 100% organic cotton, and eco-friendly packaging.
Since introducing an ‘End Period Poverty’ initiative in June 2021, which sees complimentary sanitary products available across all 65 venues, including The Dean Hotel, Captain America’s and Queen of Rebels on South Main Street, Press Up Hospitality Group has given away over 120,000 sanitary items free of charge to customers and staff.
Now visitors will see dispensers with Riley eco-friendly, sustainable tampons and sanitary pads in every public bathroom across the Press Up Group, and within their hotel room minibars.
“We are so thrilled to be partnering with Press Up.” said Lauren Duggan, Co-founder at Riley.
“This is a real testament of what a progressive business they are – one that values the health and wellbeing of all its employees and customers, as well as the health of the environment.”
Aside from being handy to have when you’re stuck, Press Up hopes that the initiative will play a part in helping to create awareness about period poverty and encourage dialogue to remove stigma about period talk.
“We believe access to sanitary products should be a right, not a privilege.” the group said in a statement.
