Just when you thought you’d eaten it all.

It’s been a while since we’ve encountered a Cork confection so mouthwateringly delicious that people are making special round trips in their cars to taste it.

You might want to grab your keys, however; the Rafaello Cruffin has landed at The Grumpy Bakers and they are selling out like hotcakes bright and early.

This lush laminated croissant pastry is made with Irish Gourmet Butter before being carefully rolled up, proved, and baked in a deep muffin tin before the decadent extras are added.

The highlight of the February menu at the bakery, which has outlets in Midleton and on Washington Street in the City Centre, the Rafaello Cruffin is stuffed with a cloud-soft filling.
