You can taste some Polish wines al fresco in a Cork City park this weekend

Sounds like the perfect start to a Saturday.
The folks behind the Polish Wine Festival are hosting a pop-up wine tasting at this weekend’s Polska Eire Slavic Festival in Fitzgerald’s Park.
On Saturday, June 13th, you can join them at their stall and try three tasty Polish wines. The ticket includes a tasting of three wines, and you can pre-book (€6.34) over here. They sell some cute wine-centric merch, too.

Polish Wine Fest merch available here.
With more than 20,000 Slavic residents living and working in Cork, the family-friendly Polska Eire Festival brings together Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, and Latvian locals through music, dance, food, and tradition.
Organised entirely by volunteers, the event is free to attend and open to all ages.
Stalls will be serving authentic Eastern European dishes, including pierogi, borscht, mici, and honey. There will also be children’s entertainment, and visitors can see a Medieval Slavic village, falconry, and a reenactment display, as well as workshops, storytelling, face painting, and traditional games throughout the day.
