You can swap, shop and hang out at this lovely midweek Night Market

Looking for something to get you out of the house on Hump Day?
This Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 there’s a laid-back community Night Market happening at the South Parish Community Centre on Sawmill Street,
Organised by Cork LETS (Local Exchange Trading System), a brilliant co-operative where members trade and exchange services and items using the ‘LETS credit’ system instead of cash (you can join for free here) the market takes place on the first Wednesday of every month.
The next instalment will feature all the usual stallholders, with everything from organic vegetables, arts and craft and books to tools, music and clothes on offer.
The Night Market runs from 7.30pm until 9pm on the evening, so it’s the perfect excuse to stroll down for a cuppa, a browse of what’s on offer and a chat.
You can also bring items to trade and recycle with your new ethically-minded mates.
