You can join Cork’s LGBT History Cycle Tour of the city this weekend

How about a little history with your exercise?
An upcoming fundraising bike ride will guide participants on a fascinating tour of special locations in Cork’s LGBT+ story.
Cork’s LGBT History Cycle Tour takes place on Sunday, September 8th, when the group will meet on Harley’s Street at 10.30am.
The next stop is Blackrock Castle, with many interesting sights and stories to check out along the way. The event finishes up at the Marina Market for post-ride chats and the entire route is 9km, almost entirely on cycle lanes.
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a very special event; a queer history tour of Cork City!” the group announced on Instagram.

“For this event we’re collaborating with the Cork LGBT Archive. This is a great organisation that gathers, preserves and shares the rich history of Cork’s LGBT communities, bringing this previously hidden history to light.”
Tickets for this special event are €6,50pp and are on sale now here. All proceeds will go to the LGBT Archive, to help them continue their amazing work.
