You can get yourself a free plant with every brew at this garden centre coffee truck
Now this is flower power.
Going for a coffee has always been a powerful motivator to get up and get out of the house, be it for a walk, a talk or simply as an excuse to go outdoors and enjoy nature. But nothing gets us on a coffee run faster than the promise of a flowery gift.
Down in Skibbereen Garden Centre, the folks at the lively Brew Box coffee truck are giving away small plants to customers every Thursday with their cappuccinos (or whatever caffeine concoction draws your fancy).
“We give away violas and other small plants,” the Brew Box told Yay Cork.
“The plants are a lovely little gift… everyone’s face lights up… it’s a good vibe.”
Following the terrible floods that engulfed the county after Storm Babet, the Garden Centre also handed out free violas to every customer to bring a smile to their faces.
You will even have your coffee and viola plant served in a cut-out oat milk container- how’s that for a circular economy?

The Brew Box is located in Skibbereen Garden Centre, Carrigfadda Skibbereen and is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Gifts are subject to availability and offers may change from week to week.
