Here’s a fun way to wind down this weekend.
With galleries closed for the time being in line with Covid-19 restrictions, CIT Crawford College of Art and Design has come up with a creative way to show their new work online… and it’s all happening this Friday.
“2020 is often, now, being talked of as the year that was cancelled. In fact, it’s a year that we will remember with greater clarity than all the other years.” said a college spokesperson.
“For the final year students of the CIT Crawford College of Art and Design, the shock of recent events has been severe. With all schools and colleges closing on March 13th, they had to leave college in the middle of their preparations for what would have been their degree show.”
To this end, the online degree showcases will be launched on Facebook on Friday, June 12th at 6pm. To join the event, just go to Crawford College of Art and Design’s Facebook page here.

“The launch event will provide a taste of the Crawford’s personality – as articulated by staff, students and its wonderful wider community of artists, designers and new media professionals – and there will be no long speeches!”
Once launched, the two showcases, Rhetoric and Vision, will be available to view on the website Crawford.cit.ie.
