Yoga in the Park returns to the bandstand in Fitzgerald’s Park this weekend

Roll up your mat and pack your sunscreen.
Yoga in the Park returns to Cork City this weekend, with 100 per cent of donations going directly to Cork Simon to help those experiencing homelessness in Cork.
Starting this Saturday, June 21st at 10am, and continuing every Saturday (weather permitting) until August 30th, Himalaya Yoga Valley will once again bring Cork’s community together through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful impact.

Open to everyone—from seasoned yogis to complete beginners—this donation-based, family-friendly class is the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. Bring your friends, your kids, and yes, even your furry downward dogs!
Over the past decade, Yoga in the Park has raised more than €80,000 for Cork Simon Community.
Each week, up to 200 participants gather in front of the bandstand at Fitzgerald Park to breathe, stretch, and stand in solidarity with Cork’s most vulnerable residents.
“The generosity shown over the last eleven years of Yoga in the Park helps provide vital support to the men and women experiencing homelessness and turning to us for help.” said Hannah McGovern, Senior Community Partnerships Officer of Cork Simon.
“Every class, every contribution, and every show of support plays a part. We’re so grateful to everyone who joins in, teaches, donates, or helps to spread the word. It’s an incredible community show of support.”
