Yes, Cillian Murphy will be appearing in a Safe Harbour Festival pop-up or two

It’s a festival renowned for making magic.
And this September, you could find yourself in a front-row seat for a once-off performance featuring Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy, who has been confirmed as one of a host of artists taking part in the Sounds From a Safe Harbour Festival residency.
The Cork native, who is one of the festival curators, is on the list of artists set to collaborate with each other in the ‘37d03d residency’.
Other stars include Alexi Murdoch, David Kitt, Dermot Kennedy, Dustin O’Halloran, Elaine Howley, Eoin French, Hana Stretton, Laoise Leahy, Niamh Regan, Ólafur Arnalds, Paddy Keenan, Peadar O’Goill, Richard Reed Parry (Arcade Fire), Shahzad Ismaily, Sophie Gough, The Space Between, and The Staves.
“The beating heart of SFSH23 is the 37d03d residency,” said Festival Director Mary Hickson.
“We have had glimpses of this in previous editions of the festival but this year we are going all in – with almost 50 artists coming to Cork to write, experiment, collaborate and spend time together.

Hickson revealed that many of the artists will be featuring in events that mention special guests: “For example FEIST, Todd Dahlhoff, Shahzad Ismaily and Elaine Howley will be joining Max Porter for his SHY event.” she added.
The results of their time together will populate the free pop-up programme around the city.
Taking place from September 7th – 10th in venues across Cork City, SFSH promises to be an unmissable four days of music, dance, literature, theatre, and conversation.
