Wine lovers – Your dream night out is happening at this boutique Cork hotel

This looks like a heavenly way to toast the good weather.
Wines from Spain is hosting a showcase dinner at Ballyvolane House later this month, working with the finest bodegas across the Navarra region to choose stand-out wines to complement each course.
The Navarra dinner to celebrate San Fermín in Ballyvolane House takes place on Tuesday, July 24th and wines will be introduced by Ernie Whalley, renowned restaurant critic and wine writer.
Beginning at 7pm, the five-course tasting menu with matching wines will be held on long tables in Ballyvolane’s gorgeous gardens.
Located in northern Spain, close to the Pyrenees, wine has been produced in the unique wine region of Navarra since Roman times.
Guests can look forward to sampling the Chivite Colección 125 Chardonnay 2015, the Ochoa Calendas Blanco and the Señorío de Sarría, Chardonnay 2017 from Bodega de Sarría – all while the sun sets on the surrounding North Cork countryside.
Tickets are €65 per person (including dinner and all wines) and you can book one night’s glamping accommodation with B&B and dinner (based on two people sharing) for €280 if you fancy sleeping over.
