WIN a fabulous custom celebration cake from Cork’s Wedding Belle Bakery

By Yay Cork February 24, 2020March 4, 2020

**COMPETITION CLOSED: Winner: Maeve Nolan**

Brought to you by The Wedding Belle Bakery.

They’re almost too good to eat.

Carol Murphy’s luxury cakes have made her business, the Wedding Belle Bakery, one of the most recommended wedding and event suppliers in Cork.

Each show-stopping occasion cake is hand made from scratch using only the best local ingredients, then carefully decorated in Carol’s purpose-built kitchen. The fluffy sponge can be filled with flavours as fancy as prosecco and raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream, white chocolate ganache or lemon chiffon – it’s up to you.

Now we’re giving you the chance to win a Wedding Belle Bakery creation for your next big celebration!

‘Cork’s Mary Berry’

Carol is Cork’s answer to Mary Berry. Having studied the art of confectionery under cake designer extraordinaire Peggy Porchen at her academy in Belgravia, London and at the world-famous Ballymaloe Cookery School, she holds a PME Masters in fondant, sugarcraft and royal icing and spent years wowing her customers at her Cinnamon Cottage deli and bakery before focusing on making beautiful cakes for private clients since 2015.

“Creating unique cakes that are beautiful from the inside out is my passion and speciality.” Carol told Yay Cork.

“An occasion as magical as a wedding deserves the utmost of attention, which is why I ensure that each of my bespoke bakes captures the couple’s vision while also giving guests that all-important ‘mmm’ moment!

“From initial consultation through to delivery and set-up on the day, I work closely with my couples at every stage, guaranteeing a hands-on service and a flawless finished product.”
