We’re fantasising about a spring getaway in this cosy Cork eco-cabin

Curious about what it’s like to live in a tiny home?
You can sample the simple life for yourself (without committing) down in Kilbrittain this spring, where a rustic waterside eco-cabin is available to rent across numerous dates.
Ideal for anyone seeking a unique romantic getaway in West Cork, Padley Eco-Cabin is right on the Wild Atlantic Way, 20 minutes drive from Kinsale and 25mins from Clonakilty (you will need a car or bike to get there).

A barbecue is also available on request if you fancy cooking alfresco during your stay and there’s a wood-burning fire for chilly evenings – just the thing for curling up with a good book.
The cabin is completely self-contained with its own garden area, decking and access to a larger garden, complete with a hammock for whiling away an afternoon in the autumn sunshine.
You’ll find plenty to enjoy locally too; it’s is within walking distance of two beaches (beach towels are available from the hosts if you’re planning a dip) and a ten-minute drive from several other large beaches noted for surfing.
