A lunchtime special at Clonakilty’s popular Fig & Olive cafe, this is the sambo that all our hangover dreams are made of.
A feast of Rosscarbery slow-cooked ham, shoestring fries, and malt vinegar mayonnaise, the contents are all bundled up in a freshly baked crusty roll and topped with a fried egg – divine.
“Oh, we put in some lettuce to just to make you feel it’s some bit healthy. It’s delish.” say the Fig & Olive folk, who are open 12pm to 6pm, seven days a week.
