Warm and windy: Here’s what the weather is looking like for the rest of the weekend

It’s hardly barbecue weather.
It will continue cloudy and breezy day today with outbreaks of rain and drizzle and a rather dreary outlook overall: “The low cloud will make it misty over the hills and at the coasts and the rain will be heavy at times.” says Met Éireann.
Highest temperatures will range between 17 to 19 degrees.
There’ll be further patchy rain overnight, with another cloudy day forecast on Saturday, with further outbreaks of rain and highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in a “moderate to fresh southwest or west wind”.
“Tomorrow night, Saturday night, light southerly winds will veer westerly and freshen and there’ll be more rain, heavy at times.” say forecasters.

“Sunday there’ll be outbreaks of rain in the west and northwest, with the south and southeast faring better with perhaps some sunny spells developing. Temperatures on the low side in the west and northwest at around 13 degrees and up to 17 degrees in the southeast. Strong westerly winds will steadily ease through the day.”
Monday will be no better but we could see some July sunshine on Tuesday, which currently looks dry and sunny.
