Here’s some good clean fun for the holidays.
If you love to treat yourself to a deeply relaxing soak in the bath or you’re looking for pressies for someone who does, you’re going to love this new pop-up shop on Douglas Street.
Right across the way from Fionnbarra’s, the crew at Cork’s own handmade natural soap company Suds Johnson are residing with an old friend for the festive season; and they have some gorgeous (and naughty) bubbles on display.
You can start your days out ‘Fresh as Phuck’ with the Suds Johnson natural deodorant made with essential oils and organic ingredients (it promises to leave you, as the name suggests, feeling fresh all day). They also have a range of homemade, Cork-inspired soap bars including Lucky Langer, Minty Craic, and a shaving bar option called How’s She Cutting, ideal for ‘all hairy humans’.
We can’t wait to get our hands on the Mermaids Brew: “a mix of Himalayan & Epsom Salts creates the perfect blend of an amazingly spa-like soak” only available in-store.
There’s also a range of shampoo, moisturisers, and accessories to choose from, and to top it all off: all these products are made in an environmentally friendly way with no packaging, chemicals, or waste.
But we should mention another type of package available at the soapy pop-up.
Johnson’s Johnson is a phallically-inspired design (we have so many questions) that comes in a range of colours and is sure to be one of those gifts that puts a silly smile on your face throughout the year…. please note it may also get you banned from Christmas dinner.
Either way: you’re worth it and so is the Earth. Find out more about Suds Johson here.
