Three of Cork’s finest print artists will be exhibiting together at the 2020 Gallery as part of LTD EDITION.

The now annual showcase, devised and curated by gallery director Sheelah Moloney, this year features the work of Deirdre Breen, Craig Carry and Shane O’Driscoll.

Using the medium of screen print, each artist will bring their personal exploration of shape, colour, layering and design in three distinct limited edition collections.

“I devised the concept for the Ltd Edition exhibition last year as a way of introducing print art in a fine art context but with accessibility being the driving force behind the idea.” says Sheelah.

“With a surge in popularity for print art I wanted to create an exhibition that highlighted the diversity of print as well as the fine art element. Print by its nature of multiples makes it affordable too so all of this together gave the exhibition a wide appeal.

“I like to try to allay people’s fears about fine art and play with their pre-conceived ideas about it with the exhibitions I create. I am continuing this with Ltd Edition ’18’.

LTD EDITION runs from September 21st until October 5th, 2018 at the 2020 Art Gallery, Griffith House, North Mall, Cork.
