Three Cork chefs have teamed up to cook an all-local feast

Do you like eating and supporting local food producers?
Step right this way…
Three top chefs have joined forces to host a once-off collaborative dinner event using only local ingredients – and you could be sitting down to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Head chef of Greenes Restaurant Bryan McCarthy will open up his kitchen to guest chefs Kevin Aherne of Sage in Midleton and Robbie Krawczyk, formerly of Tankardstown House and Glebe Gardens in Baltimore for East Meets West on Tuesday, March 6th.
The three locavores (Krawczyk’s new West Cork restaurant is due to open soon) devised the concept for the unique dinner to showcase the best of Cork produce from their respective localities within the county.
Robbie is using West Cork produce in a vegetable course, Kevin is cooking with East Cork produce in a seafood course and Bryan is using North Cork produce in a carnivorous course.
The cost of the #EastMeetsWest dinner at Greenes Restaurant is €69 per person (booking here) and the fun begins at 7pm.
Beats eating your boring old midweek dinner in front of Corrie.
