Any event involving six different wines is bound be good fun, to be fair. 

But if you’ve always wanted to learn more about different wines (and how to pick a good one) L’Atitude 51’s upcoming Speed Tasting night is tipped to be a brilliant evening out.

Happening at the Union Quay wine bar on Friday, March 1st, 2019 from 7pm until 9pm, Speed Tasting is open to anyone who wants to learn about wine the fun way.

Count us in.

Here, the L’Atitude 51 crew explain how it works: “We teach you the basics of how to taste wine and then it’s over to you – you taste six wines over the course of the evening – but you’ll be on the move: a different table, a different wine, different co-tasters. And here’s the fun part… you taste all the wines blind (i.e. we won’t tell you what each wine is) – it’s up to you to work with your co-tasters to try to guess based on the information provided at the start.”

If you’re up for the challenge, tickets are €30pp (this includes a prosecco reception, introduction to wine tasting, a taster of six wines and canapés).
