A cult London bar is coming to Cork (for one night only)

Trust us; this is going to be worth the midweek hangover.
London bar (and mixologists’ mecca) Crucible is staging a takeover at Cask on MacCurtain Street on Wednesday, February 20th.
Led by Stu Bale, Crucible is a member’s club, co-working space and creative hub for bartenders, frequented by industry heavyweights and flavour experts.
Their in-house laboratory boasts everything from dehydrators and ice-cream makers to thermomixers, giving bartenders complete creative freedom in bringing their most exciting ideas to life.
Now, in a once-off collab sponsored by Irish Distillers Pernod-Ricard’s Affinity Brand Company (Midleton Very Rare, Green Spot, Monkey 47) the Crucible crew will be landing in Ireland’s best cocktail bar this Wednesday to show off their latest creations to the Cork massive.
“I’m delighted to carry on from last year and get as many great bartenders to visit Ireland as we can, and also for my team to travel and show the world what Ireland is about.” says Andy Ferreira, manager of Cask.
“In the next few weeks we’re heading to London and New York for takeovers. Stu and the Crucible team bring such a wealth of knowledge and creativity, and getting to work with this portfolio is really exciting. It’s going to get tasty!”
There’s no arguing with that.
The Crucible takeover takes place in Cask, 48 McCurtain Street, Cork on Wednesday, 20th February from 7pm to 11.30pm. Once you’re over 18, you can rock up whenever you like – no booking necessary.
