This wine tasting and theatre night is the best way to kick off your bank holiday weekend

Brought to you by St Peter’s Cork.
Every glass of wine tells a story.
In fact, it’s a drink that has been part of Ireland’s history for much longer than you might think.
And later this month, there’s a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of your favourite tipple in the best way possible; with a glass of wine in your hand and a comfy seat in the atmospheric setting of St Peter’s on North Main Street.
Your host? Susan Boyle, a lady who knows everything there is to know about Ireland’s 2000-year relationship with wine making.
On Friday, October 25th, Susan will be bringing her widely acclaimed show A Wine Goose Chase to Cork for an hour-long, one woman theatrical performance that fuses interactive wine tasting with storytelling.
The best bit? Audience participation is key.
Audience members will have the opportunity to put their senses to good use, taste, explore and immerse themselves in wines and brandy with an Irish connection… buoyed along the way by an abundance of Irish hospitality and wit.
With a new wine licence, St Peter’s Cork is fast becoming an events HQ for Cork’s casual wine drinkers and oenophiles alike.
The wine selection is curated by Le Caveau Wine Merchants, with regular pop-ups and tastings with L’Atitude 51 in addition to dedicated events such as The Wine Goose Chase. Keep an eye on the St Peter’s Facebook page to be the first to hear about upcoming events.
Tickets for ‘A Wine Goose Chase’ at St Peter’s Cork on October 25th, 2019 are €30 per person and available from Eventbrite here. The show starts at 7pm.
