Can you picture a more perfect Tuesday evening?

An exclusive soirée hosted by The Montenotte Wine Club will see wine lovers treated to a tantalising mix of cinema and divine wines at The Montenotte Hotel on January 23rd.

The itinerary for Pinot Noir vs. Merlot Elegance involves a gin and tonic reception at 6pm, before the group heads for The Gallery Suite for a decadent tasting experience with three Pinot Noir vs. Merlot stations, perfectly paired with opulent canapés.

At 7:15pm, the Cameo Cinema will screen the timeless 2004 wine-centric movie Sideways with interval treats and deluxe popcorn.

If you’ve never seen it, the film stars Paul Giamatti as one of two middle-aged men who embark on a week-long road trip through California’s wine country, just as one is about to take a trip down the aisle.

Hosts for the evening will be Rudi Liebenberg, renowned Executive Head Chef at The Montenotte, and Sara Chapla, Director of Food & Beverage at The Montenotte, in collaboration with the experts at Tindal Wine Merchants.
