This visually pleasing Irish Sea Map shows you all the best swimming spots in Cork

This is a game-changer.
Since the pandemic, we’ve fallen in love with Ireland again, especially its forests and coastlines. You can’t deny it; we’re extremely lucky to have so many spots to soak our bones and wash away the worries of the world.
Luckily for us, the crew over at Malin & Mizen have created a handy new map that narrows down thousands of kilometres of Irish coastline to give you clear information about swim spots to add to your bucket list here in Cork and across Ireland.

“The Sea Swim Map can act as an ever-present inspiration to swim more, explore amazing new places, and to remember beautiful places you have swam in the past,” the designers explained on Instagram.
This is the second iteration of this map, which includes 193 swim spots around the country, based on customer feedback, to include new secret hideaways in Cork, Kerry, Down and Antrim.
What’s more, the map comes with a visual aid to tell you about the current, accessibility, and safety.
“Every spot has key information like dangers (riptides, currents, deep water), access difficulty, spot type (sandy beach, rocks, pier, etc.), lifeguard presence and Blue Flag status” so you can plan your swim based on your needs.
The map is available on paper, canvas and wood print and the wood is sustainably sourced “for a unique and natural look.”
You can also opt for a wood hanger or frame for the paper option to really give it a professional finish. For prices and sizes check out The Irish Sea Swim Map here.
