This Sustainable Sunday swap shop is back (and now you can trade plants too)

Why shop when you can swap?
If you’re in the market for some new bits and bobs to fill your summer wardrobe but you’re reluctant to contribute to the fast fashion problem, make a beeline for the Roundy Bar this weekend.
Cork Zero Waste will be hosting Sustainable Sunday at the Castle Street venue, so you can swing by and trade some of your lesser-worn items of clothing for new pieces.
The ideal number to swap is between one piece of clothing and five, just make sure all items are clean and in good condition.
There will be a plant swap too so bring along a leafy buddy, some seeds or cuttings to exchange with someone else on the day and you could be going home with something new for your sunniest windowsill too.

The Clothes Swap and Plant Swap will take place on Sunday, May 15th from 1pm – 3pm upstairs in the Roundy.
“It’s our first one back after all the lockdowns so it’s a great opportunity to get rid of all the clothes people are sick of looking at!” organiser Suzanna Melinn told us.
