This summer camp invites young Cork teens to learn how to row

Ever marveled at the rowers hurtling down the Marina?
If you ever wondered how a beginner might get involved in the sport, there’s an opportunity for Cork young people to find out this summer.
A series of four-day Learn To Row Summer Camps will take place throughout June, July and August at Shandon Boat Club and Cork Boat Club.
The idea is to introduce children to the sport of rowing while making new friends in a fun and supported environment and absolutely no experience or equipment are required.

It’s all based on the innovative Olympic Values Education course developed by World Rowing and Youth Sports Trust International.
The camps will run from 9.30am until 12pm and the cost is €90 per participant. Registration is open now here.
