This stunning Cork beach remains closed due to a rodent problem *shudder*

Here’s some advice we’re happy to heed.
Swimmers and sunbathers have been warned to avoid Ballyrisode Beach in West Cork due to an infestation of pesky rodents.
Cork County Council is advising bathers “not to play or swim in the general vicinity of the rocky area near the car park due to a rodent infestation.”
Located a short drive from Schull, the scenic beach is a popular swimming spot among tourists and locals, but the advice is to avoid it altogether this week until the issue can be sorted.
“Bathers are also advised to take caution while on the beach and in the wider area.” added the County Council in a tweet.
