This sex-positive retreat promises ‘craic, snacks, and reflection’ on a secret beach

Bored of your comfort zone?
Women looking to reconnect with nature, community, and themselves are being invited to a unique beachside retreat in Cork this summer as GRÁ MNÁ hosts a four-hour wellness gathering at a secret beach location.
The event on Saturday, June 27th, promises an afternoon of “craic, snacks, and reflection” by the sea, combining open conversations around sexual wellbeing with yoga and meditation in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Leading the sex education session will be Olivia Teahan of Sx Sláinte, who will guide discussions designed for anyone with female anatomy. Organisers say the retreat is open to all body shapes and sizes, all sexualities, and all gender experiences.
Yoga and meditation sessions will be led by Holly Lingwood, offering attendees a chance to unwind and connect with nature through gentle movement and mindfulness practices.
The retreat costs €50 and participants are encouraged to bring a blanket, cushion, and yoga mat to make themselves comfortable on the beach.
Organisers say the aim of the event is to create a supportive and inclusive space where women and people with female anatomy can feel relaxed, informed, and connected in a natural outdoor setting.
