This seaside café in East Cork now opens in the evenings for small plates and wine

It’s the perfect spot for a scenic sip.
A buzzing new East Cork coffee spot and music venue is about to get even more popular; Corkbeg Café in Whitegate is now serving wine.
To launch their brand new wine licence, the café will open from 5pm to 8pm from Thursday to Sunday, serving up tasty small plates and wines by Tindal Wine Merchants.
Corkbeg owner Grainne Gormley says customers can expect “mini skewers, bread sticks, Caprese skewers, and mini cheese boards, and some gorgeous wines from Tindal Wines.”

The café and music venue is set in a purpose-built shipping container overlooking the sea, with plenty of outdoor seating space. They have been offering delicious breakfast, lunch, and coffee all summer, and hosting events such as intimate live music gigs and pilates on the pier.
Weather permitting, you can join them from Thursday onwards for “jazzy tunes, lovely wines, and a few bites” in their stunning location on the pier in Whitegate.
